BLAKELY MADE
Blakely Made grew up in Annapolis on the Severn River, and couldn’t help but chase the sunshine down the coast to Charleston, SC. Blakely and her husband, Curtis, can usually be found exploring the marsh, fishing off of Sullivan’s island, or riding bikes to their favorite dinner spot, Leon’s Oyster shop. Blakely is inspired daily by the low country sky, winding waterways, and colorful marshland. Her artwork is an expression of joy, and she paints the way she sees the world: full of color in unlikely places.
JULIA DECKMAN
For Julia, color and place bring peace. Growing up in a creative family in Annapolis, MD, dabbling in art and expression was an everyday occurrence. The now self-taught artist lives full-time in Charleston, and while her subject matter and medium varies, vivid color is a constant. Her pieces feature radiant expressions of light and pigment, with organic shapes and bright emotion.
